Homebuyers want lower home prices and lower mortgage rates. The good news? Both of these have eased a bit. Home prices are moderating and interest rates have come down. This makes homebuying more affordable. The shift also cautions home sellers against overpricing. From 2020 to 2021 we saw home price appreciation at 20%.
